Abstract: Peripheral blood leucocyte counts in 104 thyrotoxic (Graves' disease) patients were compared with those in 107 normal subjects of similar age and sex. The thyrotoxic patients had a significant leucopenia with an absolute and relative neutropenia. They also had a relative lymphocytosis but the absolute lymphocyte count was within normal limits.
