17. On call. I have arthritis of both knees. Prescription medicines didn't help and they irritated my stomach. I tried glucosamine, and it didn't do much good either. Finally my doctor sent me to a specialist, who washed out both knees with an arthroscope. My pain is nearly gone, but I read that doctors did a test that showed a fake operation was just as good as my surgery. It's an outrage. How can responsible doctors perform fake operations?
