Abstract: Hearing of 502 subjects occupationally exposed to noise was evaluated using threshold, suprathreshold and speech audiometry. 240 of them worked in conditions of impulse noise, 262 were exposed to permanent noise. Impulse noise proved more harmful for the acoustic analyzer.
