PubMed ID: 1011328. Abstract: Xeroradiography is a newer technique of radiologic imaging which provides both a wide recording latitude and the phenomenon of edge enhancement. It is the phenomenon of edge enhancement in particular which allows for excellent imaging of mucous membrane anatomy and abnormalities.
