    From an outpatient surgery center in Minnesota to a teaching hospital in South Korea, each of the nine projects recognized in the 1992 Design Awards Competition uses sunlight well, one quality desirable in contemporary architecture. The winning designs also share clear organization, the ability to expand easily and exteriors that complement their surroundings.
