Abstract: A certain decrease in the content of riboflavin in blood plasma and liver and its excretion in the urine were encountered 24-h after administration of phthalazol, according to the schedule of acute dysentery treatment, in rats with initial moderate deficiency in vitamins B1 and B2. The provision with vitamin B1 did not change in this case. The introduction of phthalazol was attended with a noticeable decrease in the excretion of pyridoxic acid but did not affect the B6 content in the liver and blood serum of the animals.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
