Abstract: The results of surgical treatment in more than 700 patients clinical course and methods of diagnosis of recurrent and peptic ulcers of the duodenum after vagotomy are described. Some features of the course of peptic and recurrent ulcers of the duodenum depend on enzyme and acid producing function of the denervated stomach. Endoscopic examination has proved to be an effective method of diagnosis, as well as examination of the secretory function of the organs roengenological examination of the bowels.
