Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine how allied health professionals felt about their jobs in general and about specific job facets in particular. Four groups were investigated: (1) medical dietitians; (2) physical therapists; (3) occupational therapists; and (4) medical technologists. When national norms were applied to the median scores obtained on the Job Descriptive Index (JDI), low levels of job satisfaction were revealed.
