    Abstract:
    This notice identifies provisions in Medicare prospective payment regulations that are affected by enactment of the Emergency Extension Act of 1985. That Act extended through November 14, 1985, the Federal fiscal year 1985 rules for determining amounts of Medicare payment to hospitals under the prospective payment system and the rate-of-increase limits for hospitals excluded from that system.
