Abstract: The intraventricular administration of 6-hydroxydopamine, a procedure which destroys noradrenergic nerve terminals in the central nervous system, caused an increase in the density of beta-adrenergic receptors in rat cerebral cortex, without affecting their affinity for isoproterenol.
