Title: [The effect of the application sorption of a fibrous activated charcoal material with highly dispersed iron on the course of a wound process]. Author: Symorot MI, Shvets TM, Kryzyna PS, Kushchevs'ka NF, Denys RO. Journal: Lik Sprava; 1999 Sep; (6):110-4. PubMed ID: 10626460. Abstract: Results of the experiments carried out show that the use of the activated carbon fibrous material "Dnipro" for medical purposes (ABBM "Dnipro" MP) and the suspension of high-dispersity iron combined in treatment of infected and suppurating wounds is associated with a more pronounced therapeutical effect than application to the wound surfaces of the standard ABBM "Dnipro" MP. The compositional method using ABBM "Dnipro" MP and high-dispersity iron obtainable by thermochemical techniques has a marked antimicrobial action and stimulates the course of the wound process.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
