Abstract: Connective tissue diseases predominating in females include disseminated lupus erythematosus, antiphospholipid syndrome, primary pulmonary hypertension, Sjögren's syndrome, and rheumatoid arthritis. Pulmonary involvement is not uncommon and clinical expression may be modified by pregnancy. In addition, a certain number of drugs used for their treatment have an effect on fertility and pregnancy.
