Title: Evaluation of ciprofloxacin as a representative of veterinary fluoroquinolones in susceptibility testing. Author: Riddle C, Lemons CL, Papich MG, Altier C. Journal: J Clin Microbiol; 2000 Apr; 38(4):1636-7. PubMed ID: 10747156. Abstract: Currently in veterinary medicine, ciprofloxacin is often used in susceptibility testing to represent the entire class of fluoroquinolone antimicrobials.
