Abstract: Implementing various diagnostic methods in the past some decades has allowed to improve knowledge on hyperprolactinemia. In the diagnostics of hyperprolactinemia, besides measuring blood levels of PRL and other hormones, there may be also helpful: stimulative tests with metoclopramide and TRH, CT scans, MRI, ophthalmological examination, etc. There tumors such as prolactinoma or other reasons leading to hyperprolactinemia.
