Title: Electronystagmographic findings in central nervous system disease. Author: Spector M. Journal: Ann Otol Rhinol Laryngol; 1975; 84(3 Pt 1):374-8. PubMed ID: 1079442. Abstract: A helpful central sign on electronystagmography with eyes closed is hyper-excitability on a caloric test. Another sign is consistent nystagmus in the presence of normal calorics.
