Title: Echocardiographic characterization of a rare type of coronary artery fistula draining into superior vena cava. Author: Ashmeik K, Amin J, Pai RG. Journal: J Am Soc Echocardiogr; 2000 May; 13(5):407-11. PubMed ID: 10804439. Abstract: We describe an incidental finding of a rare type of anomalous coronary artery originating from the right coronary sinus of Valsalva and draining into the superior vena cava. This was suspected on transthoracic echocardiography but was further clarified with the use of coronary angiography and transesophageal echocardiography. Echocardiography was a major tool for delineating the origin of the fistula, its complicated course, and the drainage site.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
