Abstract: Pigmented purpuric eruptions are characterized clinically by purpura, most commonly petechial, and brownish pigmentation. Although there are several idiopathic variants, several drugs have been associated with these eruptions. We present a patient who experienced pigmented purpura on her lower extremities several months after initiating medroxyprogesterone acetate injection.
