Title: [Radioisotopic studies and pulmonary thromboembolic diseases]. Author: Collignon MA. Journal: Rev Mal Respir; 1999 Nov; 16(5 Pt 2):894-906. PubMed ID: 10907439. Lung scan is a safe and reliable non invasive method to evaluate pulmonary blood flow restoration after an acute pulmonary embolism. The follow-up lung scan performed at completion of anticoagulant therapy serves as a new baseline for the diagnosis of recurrent pulmonary embolism.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
