PubMed ID: 11038892. Abstract: Experiments have verified that Tang Niao Karg (a preparation from Chinese medicinal herbs) taken orally does not decrease the blood sugar of empty stomach in mice, but markedly helps lower high levels of blood sugar and lipid induced by epinephrine and glucose in mice.
