Title: Leclercia adecarboxylata peritonitis in a child receiving chronic peritoneal dialysis. Author: Fattal O, Deville JG. Journal: Pediatr Nephrol; 2000 Dec; 15(3-4):186-7. PubMed ID: 11149108. Abstract: A 5 year old boy with end-stage renal disease presented with clinical and laboratory findings of peritonitis. Peritoneal fluid revealed infection with Leclercia adecarboxylata. This is a motile, gram-negative bacillus, formerly designated enteric group 41 and Escherichia adecarboxylata.
