Abstract: National immunization and control programs have not brought about a significant decline in tuberculosis, which remains a real public health concern in our regions. Prevention in the working environment should be part of an overall prevention program for the general population. Nevertheless, companies should play a leading role because they have the necessary structure and assets. We analyzed the epidemiology of tuberculosis in the working environment using demographic data on employees in Senegal, current medicolegal data on tuberculosis in Senegal and data on prevention of tuberculosis.
