Abstract: A prolactin secreting tumour is the commonest cause of the amenorrhoea-galactorrhoea syndrome. Galactorrhoea is a rare presentation of an empty sella syndrome. The empty sella syndrome commonly presents with headache and visual impairment and occasionally with endocrine disturbances in hypertensive middle aged women.
