    Abstract:
    The Intercompany Collaboration for AIDS Drug Development (ICC), a consortium of fifteen drug companies, is enrolling volunteers for its first clinical trial of combination drug therapy. The trial will compare three combination-treatment regimens: AZT, ddC, and saquinavir; AZT, ddC, and nevarapine; and AZT, ddC, and placebo. HIV-positive patients must have CD4 counts between 200 and 500 and have had no previous experience with antiretroviral therapy. The trials will be held in fifteen cities throughout the United States.
