  • Title: AIDS programs brace for funding cuts; few agencies expect to be spared.
Journal: AIDS Alert; 1995 Oct; 10(10):121-2, 124. PubMed ID: 11362781.
    Abstract:
The push to balance the Federal budget is expected to severely impact AIDS funding in the immediate and foreseeable future. AIDS education, health care delivery, research, and service programs will be negatively affected, with many programs and agencies already feeling the financial crunch. Private funding is also a problem largely because the public does not associate a signature organization with AIDS (like the American Cancer Society with cancer).
