Abstract: Congress and the Clinton administration are negotiating a continuing resolution to keep Federal AIDS programs funded and in operation through the remainder of the 1996 fiscal year. The House of Representatives approved a bill that includes $52 million in emergency appropriations for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. The Senate is considering a bill that provides emergency funding if the administration cuts funding in another program.
