Title: Non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Author: Bowers M. Journal: BETA; 1996 Jun; ():19-22. PubMed ID: 11363645. Abstract: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved antiretroviral drugs for HIV treatment from 3 classes: nucleoside analog reverse transcriptors, protease inhibitors, and non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTI). Clinical data on nevirapine, delavirdine, and loviride are presented; other drugs are currently under development. Resistance and combination therapy issues are discussed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
