    Abstract:
    Nelfinavir does not seem to work well in salvage therapy. Patients who were on PI-containing therapy and who had viral loads that eventually increased, were switched to a new drug combination that included Nelfinavir. Only 30 percent of the patients had their viral load decrease. German and French researchers have confirmed that Nelfinavir has limited effectiveness in salvage therapy.
