    Abstract:
    The article presents a case study on a subject infected with MCV (molluscum contagiosum virus) and treated with the immune booster Aldara (imiquimod). MCV causes skin lesions in people with HIV/AIDS because the immune system is too weak to contain the virus. The patient in this case was treated with decreasing doses of Aldara over 3 months and the lesions cleared. Five months after therapy, no MCV lesions returned and CD4+ count and viral load had increased.
