Abstract: Great strides have been made in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Ewing's sarcoma. With the advent of modern chemotherapy, the long-term survival has improved to approximately 70%. Standard treatment for local control of the primary lesion has, historically, been chemotherapy and radiation. Currently, surgical resection has become a more effective option in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with this disease.
