Abstract: Chronic posttraumatic headache is a common condition, often part of the postconcussion/posttraumatic syndrome. The pathophysiology is not well understood but includes biological, psychological, and social factors. Tension-type headache is the most common manifestation, but exacerbations of migraine-like headaches often occur.
