Title: Arteriovenous malformation of the mandible: embolization and direct injection therapy. Author: Siu WW, Weill A, Gariepy JL, Moret J, Marotta T. Journal: J Vasc Interv Radiol; 2001 Sep; 12(9):1095-8. PubMed ID: 11535773. Abstract: Arteriovenous malformation (AVM) of the mandible is a rare entity but one that can be potentially fatal as a result of massive hemorrhage. The authors describe three cases of successfully treated mandibular AVM by percutaneous and/or endovascular techniques.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
