Title: United States v. Leatherman. Author: U.S. District Court, District of Columbia. Journal: Fed Suppl; 1983 Oct 05; 580():977-81. PubMed ID: 11648498. The District Court held that a court hearing on competency was not required to satisfy due process requirements. Since the hospital's evaluation showed the patient incompetent to make decisions about treatment for himself, the Court declined to intervene.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
