    Abstract:
    In August 1943 a group of Polish pharmacists fighting in the armed forces in Great Britain established The Scientific Society of Polish Pharmacists of the Armed Forces. It was a military organisation. In September 1945 a professional organisation, named the Polish Pharmaceutical Association Abroad was formed in Scotland. The first chairman was Master of Pharmacy, Mateusz Bronisław Grabowski. This is the first study devoted to this subject, and the lecture will be prepared on the basis of material brought from London.
