    Abstract:
    OBJECTIVE: This study was to measure the color coincidence and difference of resin cement and its try-in paste. METHODS: 3 shades of a resin cement and its try-in paste were measured and analyzed by CIE L*a*b* on a reflection spectrophotometer. RESULTS: For shade 200, vulue of delta E* was less 1.4 in comparison between try-in paste and self-cured resin. CONCLUSION: The try-in paste of shade 200 matched the self-cured resin cement very well, but the try-in paste was lighter and more yellow than the light-cured resin cement. The resin cement of shade 100 was darker and more yellow than try-in paste; resin cement of shade 300 was lighter and more yellow than try-in paste.
