Abstract: Chylous ascites is an extremely rare complication of abdominal aortic surgery. We report on a case of chyloperitoneum following resection of aortic aneurysm. The diagnosis of lymphatic tear was confirmed by paracentesis which revealed milky fluid characterized by very high content of triglicerydes.
