Title: Biliary ascariasis. Author: Uysal G, Kösebalaban, Güven A. Journal: Indian J Pediatr; 2001 Dec; 68(12):1165-6. PubMed ID: 11838576. Abstract: Biliary ascariasis is a less frequent, but important complication of ascaris infestation, because it may cause biliary colic, pyogenic cholangitis, and septicemia. After giving piperazin salt, multiple ascaris worms were seen in the stool within 10 days. She is at the follow-up without any complication.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
