Title: [Physical therapy in the treatment of myofascial pain syndrome of the chest]. Author: Zainchukovskaia LP, Galliamova AF, Novikov IuO. Journal: Vopr Kurortol Fizioter Lech Fiz Kult; 2001; (6):27-9. PubMed ID: 11868530. Abstract: Differentiated combined treatment of myofascial pain syndrome of the chest has been performed in 126 patients. The treatment included soft tissue manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and physiotherapy. Physiotherapeutic techniques varied with the stage of the exacerbation. As shown by neuroorthopedication, the treatment resulted in significant inhibition of the activity of the trigger points. The remission lasted 384.2 +/- 41.3 days.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
