Abstract: UNLABELLED: Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is a common complication in infants born to diabetic mothers but it is rarely life threatening. CASE REPORT: A neonate born to a diabetic mother with a severe hypertrophic cardiomyopathy with life threatening respiratory and haemodynamic distress was successfully supported by extracorporeal membrane oxygenation.
