PubMed ID: 1198814. Abstract: In the late period after reconstructive jejunogastroplasty such complications would arise as the resumed hydrochloric acid production and resulting peptic ulcers. Vagotomy is felt to be an effective measure for prevention and treatment of peptic ulcers of this origin. Some other complications of reconstructive jejunogastroplasty proved to be an obstruction of the interposed intestine of the functional character.
