PubMed ID: 12060051. Abstract: Primary esophageal tuberculosis is extremely rare. It is almost always secondary to tuberculosis of other organs. Abscess formation of the tuberculosis in the esophageal wall has not been reported in the literature previously. In this report, we present a case of esophageal tuberculosis abscess, with presented dysphagia, diagnosed by histologic evaluation of surgery specimen, without any other organ involvement.
