  • Title: [Study of the inhibition of mitotic activity in the rat liver].
    Author: Mutovin GR.
Journal: Tsitol Genet; 1975; 9(4):303-6. PubMed ID: 1209738.
    Abstract:
When affecting the rat liver cells by the alkylating agent dipin or X-ray irradiation in combination with genome induction by phenobarbital, a considerable decrease was observed in the mitotic activity of hepatocytes after hepatoectomy. The decrease in the mitotic activity is preserved for 90 days between introduction of mutagene and phenobarbital. When increasing the time interval to 150 days the inhibition in the mitotic activity is not observed.
