    Abstract:
    By a simultaneous measurement of the venous and CSF pressure it was established that in Queckenstedt's test the pressure in the ulnar venes changes very insignificantly, while in the Stuckey test it increases by 1.5-2 times. The absolute volume of increase of the CSF pressure in different groups of patients is influenced by the vascular tone and reactivity of the brain and pial vessels.
