    Abstract:
The impact of the nutritional status of reproductive-age women on infant mortality in Cuba is analyzed for the period 1979-1983. The risk of having low-birth-weight babies is measured using nutritional indexes based on women's height, weight, and age group. Data are from a survey of 69,655 women aged 15-49 in the province of Havana. (SUMMARY IN ENG AND FRE)
