    Abstract:
    This Resolution restructures the Venezuelan Permanent Commission of Primary Health Attention. Among the departments of the Commission is a directorate for maternal-child care and family planning. Among the functions of the Commission are the following: 1) to coordinate primary health attention activities of the bureau and/or of other institutions in the Health sector of the country; 2) to give technical advice to those responsible for the practice or strategy of primary health attention at the national level, with an emphasis on health districts; 3) to designate working subcommissions, in conformity with the technical necessities of primary health attention; 4) to continue revising rules and procedures essential to those activities tied to primary health attention; and 5) to supervise and evaluate periodically the development of primary health attention.
