    Abstract:
    This Act amends Article 267 of the Uruguay Civil Code to provide that parents are the legal administrators of property of children under their authority, whether or not they have usufruct of that property, and can decide that such administration will be exercised by either one of them. Previously, the father was the legal administrator of such property. If the parents are not in agreement as to administration of such property, either may bring the matter before a competent judge.
