Abstract: Among other things, this French Act provides for early retirement by allowing persons who have reached the age of 60 and have contributed enough to the retirement pension system to work part time and receive part of their pension. The Act also provides the following benefits to parents raising children: 1) free and permanent health insurance for single parents over the age of 45 caring for at least 3 children; 2) voluntary disability insurance for parents heading a family and not working; and 3) increased pensions for surviving spouses between the ages of 55 and 65 caring for at least 1 child.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
