    Abstract:
    This Mauritius Act establishes a Senior Citizens Homes Trust Fund to set up and manage homes for senior citizens and help in the furtherance of the objectives set out in the Senior Citizens Council Act 1985 (see Annual Review of Population Law, Vol. 12, 1985, section 710). Further provisions of the Act deal with the composition of the Board, the duties of the General Manager, execution of documents, donations, tax exemptions for the Fund, and the accounts of the Fund, among other things.
