    Abstract:
    Better understanding of platelet function helps not only the integration of many available data, because the fact that platelets play a decisive role in arterial thrombosis, but also to determine the pharmacological management of these phenomena. Globally, platelets aggregate at the site of atherosclerotic plaque rupture allowing the generation of thrombin in the haemodynamic conditions which exist in this region.
