Title: Reconstruction of a functional and aesthetic nail. Author: Zook EG. Journal: Hand Clin; 2002 Nov; 18(4):577-94, v. PubMed ID: 12516974. Abstract: There are many causes for nail deformities, the most common being the result of trauma or pressure caused by infections, tumors, congenital anomalies, and irregularity of the underlying bone or unknown causes such as the pincer nail. The corrective treatment of the more common of these will be discussed in this and other articles. Examples of nail reconstructions have been described in the 1990 Hand Clinics and as a rule will not be repeated here.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
