    Abstract:
    Biotin at 2 doses totalling 5 and 50 mg/kg s.c. does not disturb the reproductive performance of the female rats 1-6 weeks after treatment. The number of implantations and resorptions as well as the weights of placentas and foetuses remain normal. The ovaries do not show weight or histological alterations. Vaginal cycle and readiness to mate remain undisturbed.
